Mlob

In the fall of 2025, I went through Ragna Berlin’s art collection. Wearing thin white gloves, I carefully unwrapped the paintings, measured them, searched her computer for their names and photos, and sometimes took photos myself. It was a good time, almost like working together again. The website arkivet.ragnaberlin.com was created. While working, I stumbled upon the name “Mlob.” Strange, enigmatic, playful. Unable to ask Ragna, I adopted the name for this duo.

The most important musical material for the clarinet duo Mlob has come about through the collaboration of Boa, Stefan, and myself. Getting to work with fantastic musicians is one of the best things I know!
